Portishead Choral Society Summer Concert “Inspired by Folk Song”

An evening of music inspired by folk songs, including two collections  by Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, and “Sweet Was Those Notes”, an arrangement of 5 Somerset Folk Songs be our Director, Jonathan Palmer, all supported by Baritone Marcus Evans The Newland Ensemble  and pianist Richard Lennox. The concert is on Saturday 8th June at 7:30pm in the Methodist Church Portishead.
